5 Reasons Why Black Will Always Be Timeless

"The blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice".  And we are squeezing all the juice from this black jumpsuit I've scored at Zara! If you must know, I love black.  I know someone is screaming in the background saying, " Charnelle, What color don't you like?" ( in my Damian voice from Mean Girls) I've curated an editorial look book focusing and professing my love for black apparel to you. But honestly, there is something about black that gives this aura of edginess, flair, and profoundness. Think about it

What is the first shoe color you pick out in a shoe store? Black

When you're heading to your 10th job interview, what color dress, skirt, or slack(s)  are you going to pull from your closet? Black

Black Tie event = Black

When you do not have anything else to wear? BLACK

Now since we have those questionaires out the way,

We are jumping into 5 Reasons Why Black Will Always Be Timeless

1.Black can be easily mix+match with different textures and/or shades of its color; suede, leather, polyester, cotton, linen, chiffon.

2.  I am not saying ROY G BIV is not as flattering; however, black is really slimming and give you a certain stature. 

3.  You can wear black for any occasion; informal and formal attire except for weddings unless... it is a black tie wedding. *clinks glasses*

4. Black compliment other colors!! You can wear black culottes and pair it with a red lace top, lavender chiffon cut out dress with black open toe shoes, black A-line dress with converses. Simple right?!

5. Black is  classy, bold, sophisticated * cues in all the adjectives
