ZARA X CHAR

“ I see it, I like it, I want it, I GOT IT”-ARIANA GRANDE

I am manifesting this statement all 2019.

After four months into the year, I must say I need a do over. The shift between adulting and career change has been an uneasy and frustrating feeling. It’s like dressing in multiple layers only to peel them off around noon. And, I plan on “peeling off my layers” very soon this Spring.

With this look, I went for a casual, tomboy, on the go fit. My mood truly inspires my wardrobe daily; I needed to be comfortable on my travels into the city. As you may know, March + April always have the unpredictable forecasts. This either requires layering, shedding, or having a back up outfit(s) for just in case.

Although I do layer often, it is definitely not my thing. I am either overheated, look bulky, or feel stiff. So instead, I decided to throw on an oversize, heavy, in between gray+ brown cotton sweater from ZARA. I love the high collar and accent wooden buttons with the slit on the bottom right side. The ZARA oversize plaid blazer coat I’ve purchased on sale really compliments the Levi black skinny jeans. To be frank, I believe the blazer and sweater is from their Men’s collection due to the style, cut, and padding. And just so happened, the pieces were place on the women’s rack for me!

Can we say a WIN!

If you know me well enough, I really favor certain oversize pieces due to my petite stature.

I paired these ZARA over the knee boots and Calvin Klein dad cap to complete the total look. The spandex over the knee high boots are snug on my calves; however, big on my feet. Mistakenly, I purchased my true shoe size 8, believing they would fit better than a size 7.5. Unfortunately, the size 7.5 were out of stock in store. Rule #1: Get gel in-steps.
