Dear Chuck
Dear Chuck,
Thank you for the all the good times we shared during the brutal winter months and the blazing summer days. The days when I could not find you at Shake-n-Bake skating rink. Or when I scuffed you with a shopping cart at the Mars supermarket after a recent purchase, and lets not forget the time I got Nolan's sh*t from the bottom lol. In my twenty-something odd years,I’ve only had a few pair of Chucks. The royal blue, black low top, the pink and green top with the brand name all over, and cranberry. I wore them every chance I got! They always give me the skater-tomboy girl, rebellious, "ah, I do what I want, when I want" vibe.
Especially when, you have trap music cranked to the max in your car, top-down with the woofers vibrating against your back window, that gives you the adrenaline rush to drive fast or faster. While your best friend is hanging on the passenger side rolling with you trying to figure whether to at Abbey's Burger or go to Moby's.
All I know is this spring entering into summer, I plan on attending eclectic festivals, eating Egg Custard snowballs, and roaming around Sound Garden record store searching for "Baduzism" classic album until my body shuts down at 9 pm at Fells Point.
Speaking of Badu, I was inspired by her powdered blue nail color from her Best Album Collection in the early 2000s. Hence, this colorful dress I am wearing!!
I have decided to spice things up for my "on the go" look. I purchased this powdered, embroidered, cotton blue dress from Marshalls. I really love the peek-a-boo shoulders, knee length, and the tie-up tassels. I've paired it up with some all white Chucks instead of my go-to sandals for edginess. I added these sequins silver door knocker earrings from H&M to give a fun and flirty appeal.
