From well known fashion designer Jeremy Scott giving us an insight on how broadcast journalism and tabloids influence his street style looks to Founder Brandice Daniel of Harlem Fashion Row, honoring thee legendary Ruth E Carter. Harlem Fashion Row has curated an exhibition paying homage to Ruth E. Carter’s accomplishments; historical films, fashion, and movements as an exemplary costume designer.

I am rounding up the hottest street style go to looks for New York Fashion Week 2019!

1.Monochrome Fits-Can we say 50 shades of brown, please? Sorry Christian Gray! Nude, beige, carmel,and cognac have been trending all over social media with #nyfw. WE ARE LOVING IT!

The hues of brown have been coordinated based upon layer pieces. Giving the audiences a bird’s eye view on the versatile styles we are not a custom to. Beige knitted sweaters, cognac peacoats to flare chocolate pants, these fits are sure to give you the sitting by the fire, and sipping hot chocolate in a cabin.

2. Satin pant suits- Go bulky or go home! Ha just kidding! An oversized blazer with a signature cigarette or tailor pants is probably the hottest” go to attire” for street style look. A satin pant suit will give you the classy daytime to night time look you’ve been searching for. Justine Sky wore a oversized hue “ Easter” blue to Roc Nation Brunch this past weekend.

If you are wearing a print, add a solid color in which coordinate with the print. For solid color set, choose a deep plunge strapless bra to boost the cleavage or go bra-less.

3.Scully hats- My fave! You can never go wrong with a scully hat. It’s edgy and chic. You can easily switch up your appearance in a second. Try a fuschia, royal blue, neon green !

4.Blazers + turtle necks- I love the simplicity of a blazer and turtle neck combo. The reason why? You can wear with just about anything! I can wear blazer and turtle neck with boyfriend or ripped jeans. You can even switch it from tennis shoes to pumps. It is an easy go to when all else fails!
