How did you get into fashion? What became a pivotal moment where you were like “Yes, I need to be doing this”?

Kelly W: I was introduce to fashion as a child; getting involved into fashion shows. As I grew older, I wore uniforms all throughout high school, in which pushed me towards fashion even more. Transitioning from high school to college, I would do fashion shows and make my own dresses to wear for scene(s). I realized fashion was something I couldn’t stray away from. How much it excites me to see new and old fashion trends.

Can you tell me about Fragile Dream$?
Kelly W: Fragile Dream$ was created because I decided to stop procrastinating with my dreams and create a narrative behind my store. Making sure that if I told you this is the store name that I could give you an explanation as to why this is the name! I take my time to select fashionable and desired pieces for each collection that is created. I’m planning on manufacturing some of my own pieces in the future to make Fragile Dream$ a household name.

As a full-time employee and entrepreneur, What advice(s) or recommendation(s) would give to aspiring e-commerce boutique owners?

Kelly W: Don’t let the internet rush you to believing you are not making progress in your journey. But also don’t procrastinate. Make small or big efforts every day toward your goals.
